BUY DIRECT FROM THE MANUFACTURER FOR THE WEBS BEST PRICE ON ESD FLOOR PAINT!

For use over concrete, standard VCT (floor tiles), thick set epoxy, many types of floor paint. Even works on bench tops, walls and carts!
Compliant to latest standards of ESD S 20.20-2007, Including the tough new 97.1 standard (combined resistivity of technician / heel grounders and flooring <3.5E07).
ElectraGuard ESD Epoxy, permanent exceptional electrical performance. Outstanding wear characteristics unrivaled by mere latex/acrylic based ESD paints and comparable to high cost standard hard surface esd flooring. True state of the art ESD static conductive resistance to ground, easy to apply results from this high performance, thin set, two part water based esd epoxy / acrylate. ElectraGuard - Superb resistance to chemicals and solvents. ElectraGuard - Wear characteristics far superior to mere solvent based urethanes and latex paints rivaling those of thick set esd epoxy flooring without the associated toxicity, disposal considerations and environmental impact. Leave as is for low glare matt finish or top coat with ElectraThane Sealer followed by ElectraGlaze ESD Floor Finish the ElectraGuard Tri-Layer Full System for a high tech shine and ultimate wear resistance.
More Conductive than ESD vinyl tiles for a faster more thorough charge decay*! Meets all minimum conductivity requirements for UL Safety
In this side by side comparison ElectraGuard's conductivity (resistance to electrical ground) is evaluated against a highly recognized, extremely popular 2' x 2' conductive vinyl tile. Both materials were applied on 2' x 2' concrete filled raised access panels. Readings were interpreted via NIST certified ESD testing equipment per EOS ESD S 7.1. Results: ESD Vinyl RTG (averaged readings): 2.71E05. ElectraGuard/ElectraGlaze Gray (averaged readings): 9.65E04. Notice the consistency of the ElectraGuard readings compared to the ESD vinyl tile.
Note: see full application instructions prior to use.
New concrete substrate should be allowed to cure for at least sixty days prior to application of this product. Applications to floors colder than 600 F is not recommended. Sweep and vacuum flooring substrate. If contaminated mop with, a neutral degreaser to remove oil, grease and soil. For exceedingly smooth troweled concrete, concrete that does not readily absorb water, sealed concrete or concrete coated with parting compounds the concrete may be etched with standard concrete etching solutions diluted per manufacturers recommendations, thoroughly rinse with water and allow to dry overnight.
Etching may generally be replaced by screen disking or sanding (80 grit pads or rougher)
If substrate has been previously coated, a small area should be cleaned and roughed up by a screen disking with a 80 grit screen. Test ElectraGuard for adhesion, lifting etc. Any areas of the existing coating which display poor adhesion should be stripped. Wash the stripped areas, acid and rinse thoroughly. Allow the floor to dry. Catalyzed ElectraGuard should be used within six hours of mixing, therefore prepare only the quantity necessary for immediate use. Add the pre-measured catalyst to epoxy base. Stir gently until the catalyst has been thoroughly mixed in. Allow catalyzed mixture to stand 5 minutes.
Apply catalyzed material with a short nap roller in thin uniform coats. The initial coat will cover approximately 250 to 500 ft2 per gallon. Second coat coverage is approximately 400 to 600 ft2 per gallon. A third coat will provide optimum esthetics.
Note United recommends the use of soft chair casters or Titanium Mats (for hard chair casters) when rolling chairs directly over this product and all hard surface ESD flooring. Soft chair casters look like hard casters but have a rubberized coating on the wheel. ElectraGuard ESD Epoxy is a thin set epoxy (approximately 3 to 7 mil thickness) much tougher and longer lasting than ESD latex paints. Due to it's reduced solids count and thin set benefits ElectraGuard may exhibit slight variances in texture and color depending on the substrate of application. These variances do not affect the excellent electrical performance or wear characteristics. This product is available in gray, light gray, and tan colors and features a non glare finish.
