TRUE static control carpeting offers many advantages over other ESD floor covering materials. Finally, heel scuff marks (and the associated maintenance cost) are a thing of the past. In addition, static conductive <10E06 carpet fibers allow user induced electrostatic potential to dissipate to ground and is further controlled via a harmless continual, controlled corona discharge phenomena (similar to static control aircraft wicks) providing an extremely low static generation potential that many ESD tiles simply can't achieve.
